How Did You Meet This Standard?
I met this standard by focusing on the importance of professionalism in a work environment, especially in a medical field. This standard covered how to present a professional image, problem solving skills, and model traits in the workplace. By seeing videos and studying real-life examples, I saw the significance of professionalism and the effect it holds on patients.
How Does The Standard Have Real-World Application?
This standard has real-world application because in any career, professionalism is key. Depending on the field, it can determine the salary you receive, the job you get, the position/title you hold, and even promotions. Employers look for certain desired traits such as the ones we discussed in this standard. The importance of technological and ethical productivity is key in a workplace.
What Are Your Future Learning Goals Related To This Standard?
This standard has inspired me to further discover how desired traits can effect a position when presented correctly. By using the traits I learned in this standard, I feel more approachable and useful at my current job. In the future, I hope to have the same characteristics, but modified for my career and position.
